Put an AI agent to work on your jobs.

Cue-RMS has an MCP server. Claude and other agents find jobs, check stock and build quotes, with your access and your checks.

Connect Claude Code
$ claude mcp add --transport http cue-rms https://app.cue-rms.com/api/v1/mcp/v2 \
    --header "Authorization: Bearer cue_pat_your_token"

# then, in Claude Code:
> Is there a free LED wall on the 14th at the north branch?
> Quote the harbour gala from this email.

An assistant that cannot see your jobs can only guess.

Paste a client's email into a chat window and you get a list of gear, not a quote. Connected to Cue-RMS, an agent looks things up and builds the quote in your system, held to the same rules as you.

What an agent can do.

  1. Q1

    Look things up

Find jobs, items, contacts and venues, read a job with its lines and totals, check what is free over any dates, and list shortages.

  2. Q2

    Build quotes

Create a job or start one from a template, add groups, equipment and cost lines, and change its dates or status.

  3. Q3

    Source and schedule

Add a one-off item as a sub-hire, draft a request for prices, move stock between branches, add crew calls and pencil crew onto them.

  4. Q4

    Invoice through Xero

Create and issue a job's invoice, send it or a purchase order to Xero, and say where each one stands there.

  5. Q5

    Your access, your checks

Every tool runs through the app's own routes, with your role, branches and discount ceiling checked on each call. A line that would be short is refused unless you say to book it anyway.

  6. Q6

    A person still sends

An agent never emails anyone, issues a quote, records a payment, or changes settings or people. Every call is recorded, and a retried change is never made twice.

A token you control.

An owner or admin makes a personal API token in Settings. Choose how long it lasts, from 7 days to a year, and make it read-only if the agent only needs to look things up.

The token works on the MCP server and nowhere else in Cue-RMS, and revoking it stops the agent at once. The agent never sees more than the person who made it.

Questions.

Which AI tools work with it?
Claude Code, Claude Desktop through mcp-remote, and any MCP client that speaks Streamable HTTP and can send a header. Browser connectors that sign in with OAuth, such as claude.ai's, do not work yet.
Does the agent see more than I do?
No. It works as the person who made its token, checked fresh on every call. If they cannot open something in the app, neither can the agent.
Can an agent send a quote or an invoice to a client?
No. It can build a quote and preview the document, and create and issue an invoice and send it to Xero, but nothing it does emails a client. Sending stays with a person in Cue-RMS.
Is there a REST API too?
Not a public one. The MCP server is the way in for AI agents, and a token works on it alone.
